Action1 Agent Installation
Action1 agent is a lightweight, non-intrusive component used to securely communicate with Action1 Cloud.
- It is distributed as an MSI file and operates as a service on Windows endpoints.
- It is distributed as a PKG file and operates as a daemon on macOS endpoints.
The device where it runs is added to the Endpoints view in the Action1 console as a managed endpoint.
The agent securely connects to Action1 Cloud using embedded information about your organization that includes the authentication certificate for mutual authentication and a private encryption key, specific to your organization.
