Meet Leadership Team
Alex is CEO and Co-Founder of Action1, an autonomous endpoint management platform built for long-term, founder-led success. A seasoned entrepreneur with over 20 years in business and technology and a Ph.D. in information security, Alex previously co-founded Netwrix, a cybersecurity company that grew into a multi-billion-dollar industry leader. At Action1, he is committed to redefining how organizations preempt cyberattacks by staying focused on sustainable innovation—not short-term wins. He lives in Irvine, CA, with his wife and three children.
Mike is President and Co-Founder of Action1, where he drives product strategy and go-to-market execution. A serial entrepreneur with a strong background in technical leadership, Mike also co-founded Netwrix, a multi-billion-dollar cybersecurity success. Like Alex, he is deeply committed to keeping Action1 founder-led, building it with a long-term vision rather than aiming for a quick exit. Mike lives in Laguna Beach, CA, has five children, and is an avid surfer and environmental advocate.
Brian Helwig is Chief Operating Officer at Action1, bringing over two decades of leadership in tech and cybersecurity. Before joining Action1 in April 2025, he held executive roles including CEO of MSP360, CFO and VP of Operations at Netwrix, and Director of Worldwide Customer Technical Support at Veeam.
With a foundation in IT management and leadership training from The Wharton School, Brian drives operational excellence, scales global teams, and delivers customer-centric outcomes. Based in the Pittsburgh area, he lives with his two sons.
As Action1’s VP of Sales & Alliances, Branden leads the company’s sales, channel, alliances and partnership efforts, while driving growth initiatives for the company’s corporate & MSP customer segments.
A dynamic cybersecurity and cloud expert, Branden has a strong track record of disrupting markets and accelerating revenue growth through direct and indirect channels across the Americas, EMEA & APJ markets. Prior to Action1, he led sales & channel partnerships at several high-growth SaaS, cloud, and cybersecurity companies, including Netwrix, Quest and Huddle.
