Remotely change network adapter settings, such as IP address, default getaway and more on multiple computers at once |
Use this action to remotely perform one or more changes to network adapter settings. For example, you can change DHCP settings, add new DNS name, change default gateway, change IP address in network adapter config, add a secondary IP address, change DNS servers remotely and reset network settings, all without using PowerShell or scripts to configure network adapter. It works similar to running a batch file to change IP address and DNS or running ipconfig on remote computers.
Use this action with caution, because it can disrupt network communications and prevent Action1 agent from connecting to Action1 Cloud. To simply reset network adapter without reconfiguring it, use another action called "Reset Network Adapter".
