This section of PCI DSS requires the following checks to be performed on each portable device used outside of the internal network, which is also used to access the CDE:
1. The personal firewall is installed and specific organization-defined settings are configured.
2. The personal firewall is active (running) and configured for continuous operation.
3. The personal firewall settings cannot be altered and it cannot be deactivated by users.
