Shows endpoints that have Dropbox, OneDrive, Box or more installed, with install date, install location and version

Cloud storage applications, such as Dropbox, Box, OneDrive are very popular among users, because of their ease of use and convenience, however, they present substantial risks to organizations. Lack of control over data sharing could lead to privacy policy violations and data leaks, resulting in sensitive customer data shared with someone outside of the organization by accident or intentionally.

Action1 shows all installed and/or running cloud storage apps on your network and allows you to create alerts when any new applications are installed or started. You can display all installed cloud storage apps or just those currently started by users. Such as you can determine which computers have Dropbox installed and which users have it running in their logon sessions. It is also able to determine if certain apps are being run in portable mode, such as from USB drives. You can then use this data to, for example, prevent Dropbox or OneDrive usage in the workplace, if it’s against your corporate policy, by blocking or blacklisting them in your firewall.

By default, Action1 searches for most popular Dropbox, Google Drive, Box, OneDrive, Amazon Drive, Apple iCloud, IDrive, Tresorit, MEGAsync, NextCloud, SpiderOak, pCloud and SugarSync. Applications parameter contains comma-separated pairs in the format of appname:exename and you can add more applications to search (such as add MyCustomCloud*:customcloud.exe).

Sign-up for Action1 Free Edition to receive real-time alerts and view instant data from your endpoints, such as alert on Cloud Storage Applications created, deleted or modified or run live or scheduled queries with the ability to export to CSV or Excel. Action1 Endpoint Security Platform is entirely SaaS, with online web interface (no management tools to install) and it has zero cost for basic functionality. Running in the Cloud, Action1 discovers all of your endpoints in seconds and you can query your entire network in plain English.
